TeacherActive are recruiting for a practitioner to work within a Crèche located near Meadowahall in Sheffield. We are looking for flexible, creative and enthusiastic candidates to join the team.
The practitioner must be passionate, enthusiastic and driven with a love for childcare. The Crèche s state of the art, purpose built, full of exciting and stimulating resources to support your teaching and learning with the children
Your role as crèche practitioner will include:
• Engaging children in entertaining and educational play through a variety of activities.• Supporting and assisting the Manager in planning and delivering a programme of activities.
• Communicating with fellow colleagues, clients and parents in a professional manner.
• Potential to step up as a Key Worker when required.
Skills & Qualifications
• Have experience working with children aged 3 years to 11 years• Hold a minimum Level 3 childcare qualification or Play worker Level 3 (pre 2014)
• Ability to contribute to creative activity planning
• Ability to communicate with children and parents
• Work well within a team
• Ability to step up into a supervisory role when required.
