Calling all Nursery manager's! We have a new and exciting permanent opportunity to join one of our nursery provisions in Blackpool! This is an award-winning Nursery providing a high-quality service, child centred approach, working to meet the needs of all children and their family. We aim to build and maintain strong partnerships with parents to enable childrens needs to be met. They provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children.
In this role, you will oversee the nurseries operative needs, drawing from your experience in an educational setting and your commercial acumen to grow and maintain a safe, intellectual, and compliant environment on a day-to-day basis in accordance with nursery procedures and guidelines. You will be an ambassador for the Nursery, promoting a welcoming, informative and professional environment and demonstrating the Company's values at all times; FUN, FAMILY & FRIENDLY.
The pay for this role is between 30,000- 35,000 per year depending on experience and skill set. Hours will be between 7:30-6:30 on a rota basis, Monday - Friday. Ideally you will have prior management experience in either a nursery setting or EYFS provision.
General Responsibilities/Duties:
- Manage the business elements, ensuring the nursery's occupancy levels are maximised whilst costs are controlled.
- Oversee the nursery achieving exceptional people, commercial and educational standards.

- Oversee the full registration process for new prospective clients, whilst following the 'Safer Recruitment Policy'.
- Work with the Nursery Manager to identify areas for continual improvement within the practice.
- To work in partnership to ensure standards are continuously being met in line with Ofsted requirements and the EYFS.
- Ensure that any identified development needs through the Nursery Manager are supported with ongoing training either internally or externally.
- Oversee the Nursery Manager who will lead the planning of children's developmental records and ensure that they reflect their individual progress and that these are maintained up to date.
- To ensure that you have knowledge and understanding of all aspects of Health & Safety e.g. Risk Assessments, COSHH etc.
- To ensure the financial sustainability of the setting, which will include marketing, parent show arounds, promoting events, managing waiting lists, open days and managing staff deployment effectively.
- Have excellent knowledge of the EYLOG/EYMAN nursery management system and ensure that it is always up to date.
- Ensure payroll information is processed in a timely manner and submitted before the deadline.
