- Provide high-quality care and education to children in a nursery setting
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences to promote children's development
- Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing support as needed
- Collaborate with parents and families to ensure effective communication and partnership in children's care and education
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and any incidents or accidents that occur
- Follow all health, safety, and safeguarding policies and procedures
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards children's needs and emotions
- Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education
