SalaryAshbourne Day Nurseries at Houghton Regis is a brand new (opened October 2023!) purpose built nursery with four rooms over two floors.
We are rapidly increasing our occupancy with regular enquiries and applications every week and as a result we are expanding our Nursery team.
We are looking for a qualified practitioner to join our friendly and diverse team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences
- Monitor and observe children's development and progress
- Collaborate with parents and communicate effectively about children's daily activities and progress
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Experience:
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Familiarity with early years curriculum frameworks
- Ability to engage and interact positively with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed
