Nursery Teaching Assistant – ‘Outstanding’ Primary School in Islington 
Are you an energetic, enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant looking for a new 1:1 role where you can provide support and guidance to a pupil with a diagnosis of ASC?
Are you passionate about ‘learning through play’ and excited by the prospect of enriching the educational journey of a child with Autism?
Working under the guidance of a supportive EYFS Phase Leader, this SEN Teaching Assistant role will be commencing immediately following a successful interview and will run through until initially July.
Nursery Teaching Assistant  

• Nursery Teaching Assistant role commencing ASAP
• Full-time position, Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4pm
• Supporting a pupil in Nursery who has ASC
• ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted School in Islington
• Nursery Teaching Assistant role running through until at least Easter
• £450.00 - £500.00 per week, inclusive of holiday pay

The Role – Nursery Teaching Assistant

• Using your knowledge of the Nursery Setting, you will be supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis who has a diagnosis of ASC.
• In the mornings, you will be providing General Support across the Nursery Classroom and in the afternoons you will be assigned as the child’s Key Worker.
• Working with colleagues and external stakeholders, you will develop and implement strategies to help to improve behaviour, motivation, concentration and attainment.
• The school have specified they can only consider Graduates for this role with a degree of 2:1 or higher. Previous experience working within a Nursery Setting and an excellent knowledge of ASC are desirable.
