Location: Norwich
Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract
Pay Rate: £25 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties of the Occupational Therapist:
- Responsible for supporting referrals for the area you are assigned to, carrying-out comprehensive assessments and developing perinatal specialist Mental Health care plans.
- They will monitor and support women during the pregnancy or at post-natal stages, maintain strong links and communication with health providers such as Community Midwives, Specialist Midwives, Health Visitors and other professionals.
- To plan care programme approach (CPA) reviews.
- To attend and cover key functions in the team,- duty, team huddles, team meeting, buddy support/lone working.
- Provide support to your colleagues with complex cases, escalating concerns to Safeguarding partners and ensuring that safety plans are in place for high-risk service users.
- Keep up to date with specific specialist perinatal research.
- Undertake the planning and delivery of direct patient care with minimal supervision, ensuring continuity of practice and working within a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency environment.
- Managing a caseload and the provision of Mental Health care services to people with Mental Health care need.
- To be responsible for accurate recording of Mental Health records of all patients on admission, discharge and at review.
- To work within the multi-disciplinary team and to form working partnerships with other care providers.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience
- Registered with the HCPC
