Office Administrator - St Albans, 5 days a week in the office
We are seeking an Office Administrator to join our UK Head Office based in St Albans. You will be working alongside the Office Manager and the receptionist.
Key responsibilities:
Administration Duties
- Make up New Starter Packs
- Ordering stationery
- Photocopiers - ordering/recycling toners, meter readings etc
- Archiving - manage documents coming in/out for UK South
- Approving supplier invoices / reconciling invoices
- Director Expenses/ Credit card uploads
- Assist Office Manager with facilities management
- Assisting with functions - St Patricks, RAA, Dinner Dance - tracking attendees and helping at the event.
- First Aider (refill first aid boxes) / Fire Marshall
- Assist Office Manager with office tidying/clearing when required
- Logging hot desk use
- Cover any duties required when Office Manager is on holiday
- Answering & directing all calls in a professional manner
- Welcoming all visitors to the office and ensuring sign in procedure is completed
- Booking, co-ordinating meeting rooms
- Booking Courier / Taxis
- Booking lunches, making teas, coffees etc
- Company shopping online for office groceries / supplies / fresh fruit
- Updates to office desk plan
- Booking travel as and when required
- Issue security fobs / water bottles to new starters
- Checking security cameras when required
- Fire Evacuation - Printing staff and visitor list
- Services to building i.e., Rentokil/gardeners/window cleaners/recycling
- DSE Assessments
- Keep maintenance log up to date
- Happy to be based in the office full time
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly and professional manner

- Ability to multi-task, organise, prioritise and plan
- Hours: Mon-Thurs 8.30am-5pm, early finish on Friday, fully office based - no hybrid working!
