Our client, JFS Property Services offer property maintenance, fit out and refurbishment services to residential and commercial properties across London and the South East of England.
They offer a professional and friendly service from the start of a project through to completion, with careful attention to detail and excellent communication throughout.
Due to planned growth within the business, JFS are seeking a driven, self-motivated Office Administrator to assist the Office Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks.
This is a part-time (20hours), permanent position based from their business premises in Tring, Hertfordshire. This role is due to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Respond to inquiries or queries (verbal or email) as part of Front of House duties
- Overseeing accounts receivable and payable, ensuring invoices are issued, paid promptly, and monies are correctly allocated for each transaction via Sage 50
- Manage other business expenses including the expenses via Pleo
- General administrative support including data entry, record keeping and the monitoring of inboxes and diaries
- Assisting with the management of company vehicles including updating vehicle tracker, insurance, tax, repairs etc
- Manage training records Manage holiday requests/approval process via Breathe HR
- Completion and issue of account application forms
- Ensure that deadlines and objectives set by the Directors are met
This is not an exhaustive list and you must be flexible in your approach to carrying out your duties which may change from time to time to reflect business needs or for the company's continuous improvement.
About You:
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a natural talent for building positive and long-lasting professional relationships with clients and colleagues
- Strong client-centric mindset and a positive attitude
- Demonstrates discretion and respect in all interactions
- Essential requirement: Proven experience in a similar role within a Professional Services business
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office (in particular Excel), with a willingness to embrace technology for process management
- Essential Requirement: proven accountancy/bookkeeping skills using Sage 50, Xero or QuickBooks
