Office and Community Manager, the City
Leading technology company based in the City are searching for an Office and Community Manager to help shape their new community focused office space. This role is key to supporting their growth and enhancing the workplace environment. You'll be responsible for overseeing the setup of the new office, driving community engagement strategies, and making sure the workspace is both functional and welcoming
- Lead and support a team of community coordinators, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors, clients, and the team.
- Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring all areas are functional, well-maintained, and resourced to meet company standards.
- Develop and implement a community strategy to enhance office culture and employee engagement.
- Serve as the primary contact for building management and landlords, managing relationships and addressing facility-related issues promptly.
- Oversee relationships with maintenance, facilities, and cleaning service providers to ensure all spaces are immaculate and reflect our high standards.
- Coordinate and support office events in collaboration with the Events Manager.
- Handle incoming phone calls, providing courteous and effective communication, and resolving inquiries efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Health & Safety team to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Train and mentor team members in customer service and interpersonal skills, promoting best practices within the team.
The right candidate
- Demonstrated experience in office management, facilities coordination, or a similar role, with a track record of effectively managing office/community operations.
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities, with the skill to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders, including senior management and external service providers.
- A proactive and creative problem-solving approach, adept at addressing and resolving issues in a dynamic workplace.
- Proven budget management and procurement skills, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- A genuine passion for fostering vibrant and productive office environments that align with and promote company values and culture.
£40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
