Job Summary:
We’re looking for a skilled office assistant with multitasks capabilities who can ensure smooth workflows for our staff and the best results possible for our clients, while also contributing to a supportive office environment. Objectives of this role
- Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with senior staff and clients
- Manage internal and external communication channels
- Ensure accurate records, resolving any discrepancies or errors in company data
- Monitor staff compliance with company policies and follow up to ensure compliance
- Provide excellent client service and ensure strong relationships
- Facilitate project completion by offering administrative and other support
- Ensuring, booking and conducting customs clearance. Desirable experience of customs compliance. Handling customs entries and arranging billings for VAT/Duties (Background with Customer Clearence and import/export is Advantage)
- Able to travel often to overseas for business needs
Responsibilities
- Manage and update staff calendars to indicate availability for calls and meetings
- Communicate with all levels of staff and clients for coordination purposes
- Review client information and enter into relevant software databases
- Circulate memoranda on business topics to keep staff informed on new developments
- Provide regular status updates to clients on expected deliverables
- Complete additional tasks as requested and delegated by manager
- A Customs Clearance Clerk is involved in determining the level of duties and taxes to be paid including the processing of payments on behalf of clients.
- Effectively, efficiently, and accurately process primarily, but not exclusively, Road Freight customs clearances for all customers within the guidelines of all relevant laws and regulations.
- Liaise with all customers, suppliers, government agencies, freight forwarders, importers, exporters et al as required to prepare and process primarily, but not exclusively, Road Freight customs clearances
- Arrange Import clearances in to Bond & removal from Bond for Road Freight, Sea Freight & Air Freight if required.

- Curiosity and desire to learn about the industry
- Chinese speaker is must, English is proficient and Multilingual is bonus
- Excellent IT skills are needed for this position
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Outlook and Teams.
- Must have a high level of accuracy.

The Role:
- This a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday, Overtime is required according to the project progress
- Sponsorship is considered
- 20 days holiday plus 8 statutory Bank Holiday days
