Job Type: Full-time Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm
Salary: £30,000+ depending on experience
Job Description:
The Office Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the office, including but not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling office supplies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all administrative matters within the office
- Provide support to project managers and field teams, ensuring seamless coordination between office and construction sites
- Assist with document management, including organizing and maintaining both physical and electronic files
- Manage office budgets, process invoices, and track expenses
- Support HR functions, such as onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and coordinating employee events
- Monitor and improve office procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Maintain a safe and clean office environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role within the construction industry desirable, but not essential
- Knowledge of construction processes, terminologies, and documentation
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant software
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while handling multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
