Your Role
As the Office Manager, you will be a crucial part of our team, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Financial Management: Oversee our bookkeeping with Xero, manage payroll, and handle quarterly VAT returns.
- Customer and Supplier Relations: Assist the Managing Director with customer invoicing, manage the rental system, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth cash flow and cost management.
- HR and Admin Support: Manage sick leave, annual leave, and overtime, and work with the property manager and contractors to keep our facilities in top shape.
- IT and Systems Management: Utilise your tech skills to ensure our administrative systems are efficient and effective.
What We’re Looking For
Required Skills:
- Experience with bookkeeping (Xero preferred)
- High financial literacy
- Strong IT skills (including MS Office)
- Proven experience in an autonomous admin role
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Experience managing contractors and suppliers
Preferred Skills:
- HR experience in an SME
- Knowledge of the UK film and TV industry or experience in a rental company
- Full UK driving licence
