Job description

We are currently looking to recruit an Office Manager for our Client based in Nottingham.

The main purpose of the role is to manage and supervise the administration staff on site, whilst developing and organising of the administrative process.

To be considered for the Office Manager, you ll require the following essentials:

  • Hold an NVQ Level 2 in Business administration or similar
  • Experience within a similar management role
  • Experience of managing & leading a team
  • Ideally hold or be willing to undergo First Aid at Work
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Packages
  • Show the ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards

The successful candidate will be working in a busy environment therefore must be able to multitask and show strong communication and interpersonal skills. Within this role you will also be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and other relevant checks.

Within this position, you ll also be:

  • Managing and supervising the administration staff on site
  • Assisting in induction, training and recruitment as and when required
  • Assisting in & conducting performance reviews & appraisals of staff
  • Ensuring all compliance and training of new starters is in line with legislation
  • Motivating and encouraging the team with good practice and ensuring they work to their full advantage
  • Ensuring that the internal system is updated and accurate across the business and all compliance is in order
  • Answering any incoming calls & ensuring any queries are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Managing the business calendar & ensuring it is up to date for all staff
  • Overseeing of financial admin activities including reconciling records, collecting & recording payments
  • Managing events such as open evenings

Salary & Working Hours

  • Salary is £29,000 - £33,000 per annum, dependant on experience
  • Monday Friday, 7am start
