My client is a family run legal services provider operating in peoples homes around the midlands who are currently looking to recruit an Office Manager.
Office Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Supports company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff.
- Reception duties – answering calls, emails and letters.
- All-around secretarial duties.
- Being the point of contact for suppliers and ensuring office supplies and resources are restocked.
- Maintaining office policies and managing health and safety procedures.
- Keeping records of office expenditure.
- Data responsibilities, including GDPR.
- Maintains office services by organising office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and booking in appointment deals
- Maintains office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintains office
- Assist with business development to help grow the business
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager or Administrative Assistant
- Knowledge of Office Administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
- Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Familiarity with email scheduling tools
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
- High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
Working Hours
- Monday - Friday (7 hours per day)
- Can be flexible with working hours 4/5 days a week also
