They are now looking for an Open House Cook to join them on a part-time, permanent basis, working 18 hours per week.

The Role
As an Open House Cook, you will prepare and produce first-class breakfasts for our client’s diners at St Patrick’s Parish Centre.
Opening the kitchen, you will prepare the equipment needed and work alongside a volunteer team to ensure the smooth running of the breakfast service from 08:30 – 10:00.
You will also plan and create desserts to be served later in the week, ensuring they are suitable for storage and freezing.
Additionally, you will:
- Purchase ingredients and supplies from local shops
- Clean and organise the kitchen and all equipment at the end of each service
About You
To be considered as an Open House Cook, you will need:
- Experience as a Cook
- Knowledge and understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- An understanding of scale and quantities when catering for large numbers
- A Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certificate (or be willing to achieve this through online training)
