As Operational Lead it will be your job to guide, enable and support our close-knit team to fulfil our purpose: to help people living with Behçet’s live well. This is a highly autonomous role that will make a big difference to one of the rarest patient groups in England. We’re looking for someone who can come in and help us build on our achievements and do things even better.
You will be responsible for team performance; leading and developing the BPC Support Co-ordinator team to ensure we successfully deliver our contractual commitments and thus influence the future of our funding, (we have funding for at least another four years).
You will help ensure the team is seen as a vibrant and innovative exemplar for the delivery of well-being services, increase awareness of Behçet’s Centres of Excellence, and ensure benefits are delivered to patients.
You will also facilitate the development of the team and individuals, adopting a coaching approach whenever possible.
We encourage hybrid working to maximise our efficiency. Relationship building with the Centre of Excellence clinical leads is essential, so travel to each of the Centres in London, Liverpool and Birmingham will be required.
We also work collaboratively with Behçet’s UK, the charitable support group for patients with Behçet’s and you’ll be building relationships with that charity.
Interviews to be held via Teams / Zoom week commencing 15th April 2024
