In our Professional Support Service, you'll play a vital role, supporting Children’s Services on an administrative basis, you'll contribute significantly to Children’s Services, ensuring positive outcomes for vulnerable children and families. What is the job role?

Come and join us at an exciting time and be part of the Professional Support Service’s journey. We are a team that works with colleagues at all levels across Children’s Services to contribute to positive outcomes for some of the most vulnerable Children and Families across the City.

This is a 35hr per week, 12 month fixed term contract.

In this role, you will be supporting the Fostering Service and the payments to our Foster Carers. You will work as part of a team, supporting Social Workers and Team Managers to process payments in a timely manner, updating case management systems and in-house tracking systems any other required support tasks. You will promote a positive working culture where children and our carers are at the heart of everything we do.

Please note this is a rolling advert where applications will be shortlisted regularly and interviews arranged. The advert will close once a successful candidate has been appointed.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
