SalaryOur client based in the heart of East Lancashire near Burnley, and they are looking to recruit an experienced Operational/Cost Accountant to work across multiple sites within this large FMCG.
The company is a well-established business and has a number of different product offerings, so the role will be fast paced and diverse as you co-ordinate the site in order to meet the customer deadlines. You will ideally have an experience of manufacturing and/or distribution and be fully adverse in the financial performance and controls required in such an environment.
Your core duties as Operations Accountant will include:
Responsible for the reporting of all site financials and reporting metrics across the two sites
Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for the business to control expenditure.
Work closely with a variety of stakeholders to deliver against company performance metrics, providing accurate KPI's.
Provide accurate financial planning and forecasts to develop process improvement.
Manage the capital expenditure across multiple sites.
Manage the costing elements of the sites including production, labour, and materials.
