Operations Administrator

Your new companyHays are working with a growing Manufacturing business based in Telford who are looking to recruit an Operations Administrator on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity due to growth within the company. Your new roleWe are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and dedicated individual with a passion to learn to join our team. As a Business Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Sales and Transport Departments. You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks that support the daily functions of the departments, helping to create a productive and organised work environment.As an Operations Administrator your role will be;

• Deal with incoming phone calls to assist customers with sales related issues.
• Customers are spoken to or emailed as appropriate to clarify any pricing or delivery issues that may occur.
• Liaising with customers and internal departments in regards to returns and collections.
• Helping to draft letters / reports and documents for management.
• Supporting the Transport department where required.
• Providing administration support to other team members.
• System Data Entry.
• Helping to implement changes within the business to continue growth, paperless operations and continually modernising methods.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using office Microsoft Office functions.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Good Telephone manner
