Our client is looking for an experienced Operations Administrator to join their small, friendly team. They are seeking someone who will be keen and passionate to grow and develop alongside their expanding company. This means the suitable candidate should be willing to take on more responsibilities as the company grows further.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- Sales administration including:
- Raising and receiving Purchase Orders
- Entering invoices onto SAGE
- Raising quotes
- Sending order confirmations
- Supporting the UK Finance Director - including some credit control
- Document management - including scanning, document design and filing
- Updating customer and supplier details
- Data entry and database maintenance
- Support of the warehouse with stock management
- General office administration, as required to support the team
Key attributes
- A high level of numeracy with particular emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
- Organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Strong communication skills both written & verbally
- Previous experience working within order processing
- Excellent sales support and customer service skills
- Proficient IT skills with working knowledge of MS Office including Outlook and Excel
- Working knowledge of CRM database software (preferable)
- A 'can do’ attitude with a willingness to learn and work towards business objectives as part of the team
- Confident personality
