My client, a leader in private jet charters, are seeking a part-time Operations Assistant to join their team. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of daily flights and providing outstanding customer service to their clientele.
The position includes working 3 days a week, every other weekend, and providing sickness/holiday cover as needed.
Day to Day of the role:- Conduct aircraft pre-departure checks and preparations to ensure all flights are ready for a timely departure.
- Coordinate with pilots and ground crews for on-time flight departures and arrivals.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to passengers, including handling baggage and ensuring a seamless travel experience.
- Liaise with airport partners to arrange necessary logistics such as landing slots, parking, and ground transport for passengers and crew.
- Support the Ground Operations Manager with tasks like flight scheduling, crew FTL monitoring, and arranging transport and hotel requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date flight documentation and logs.
- Perform basic safety and security inspections to uphold company standards.
- Assist with various ground operations tasks as required.
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer-service oriented environment, with a preference for those with operations experience.
- Familiarity with Leon and Avinode is advantageous but not essential.
- A proactive "can-do" attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and security.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- A valid UK driver's license.
