Operations Controller

We are delighted to support our Client, Titan Airways, the Worldwide charter operator, in their search for an Operations Controller to join their fast-paced and dynamic team.

Titan Airways has been flying passengers and cargo worldwide for over 30 years. Their passion and commitment to high standards make them one of Europe’s leading charter airlines.

They are the UK’s largest Charter and ACMI operator. They specialize in short-notice ACMI and wet lease operations and ad-hoc passenger and cargo charter services to tour operators, corporations, governments, and the sports and entertainment sectors.

Reporting to the Operations Control Manager and working a 12-hour day and night shift pattern, their Controllers manage and support their fleet of narrow and wide-body Airbus aircraft operating worldwide.

Role Requirements: 

MUST

• Right to live and work in the UK or hold an EU-settled status
• Must live or be willing to relocate within commutable distance of London Stansted
• Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• One years’ experience within an Airline Operations Department or two years’ Handling Company (Dispatcher/Ramp/Ops) or FBO (Ops)
• Ability to provide information to enable five-year referencing
• Proactive and organized with a calm approach to work
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with all levels of the business

SHOULD

• Completed a formal Aviation Training Course
• Previous experience of both Cargo and Passenger Operations
• Have a good level of spoken English

COULD

• One year Handling/FBO could be looked at but not less unless acceptable mitigation, i.e. degree/apprenticeship
