The purpose of this role is to provide efficient leadership and operational expertise, you will help to deliver assessments, ensuring that the high standards expected of the assessments are maintained in preparation and delivery of the Oral Assessments.
As the Operations Manager, you will:
- Build, develop and maintain a focused, effective and empowered team
- Involve the team and engage them with the vision, goals & KPIs to create success
- Build extensive relationships with external assessment venues
- Help to meticulously plan and prepare for assessment days
- Take a key role in the delivery of our assessments on site at one of the assessment delivery venues
Contribute to the provision of an outstanding candidate experience
- Manage the CCTV operations for all assessment venues
Your current role, or recent roles, may be:
- Event manager or supervisor
- Exam/Assessment manager or supervisor
- Operations/Customer Service manager or supervisor
What you'll bring to the role
You'll be a superb organiser and confident in dealing with other people. You also need
to have:
- Strong operational management experience, including managing a team
- Experience in overseeing business administration
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Confidence in communicating with others, both in writing and verbally
- Experience in working in an events role is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work to a high level of accuracy. Attention to detail is essential
- A good working knowledge of excel (or Google Sheets)
- Knowledge of working with the Google Suite is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently and also as part of a team
