Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our client's company's operations. The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in streamlining processes, optimising resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including production, inventory management, logistics, and quality control.
- Manage and optimise resources, including human resources, equipment, and facilities, to meet operational goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to drive operational excellence.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks and ensure business continuity.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement among team members.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the operations team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Implement and manage company policies and audits.
- Manage Health and Safety standards across the company.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations management, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of operational processes, principles, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies to drive business results.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
