Operations Manager (Charity Focused On The Muslim Community)

Civitas Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fantastic organisation that is dedicated to changing the grant making sector and removing barriers to grant funding for small not for profits supporting the Muslim community in the UK. The charity currently works with over 800 charities. An exciting opportunity exists for an Operations Manager to join the team. As Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in managing and developing the operational business functions of the organisation and supporting the organisation’s charitable aims. The Operations Manager will collaborate with the Trustees to deliver and improve the organisations strategic planning, annual operational planning, and budgeting process and ensure their vision and mission are effectively translated into operational goals and initiatives. The role will also work closely with the Treasurer to manage the allocation of resources and oversee budgeting, fundraising and grant management. This is a broad multifaceted role offering the successful candidate the ability to pick up new skills and hone existing ones.

This is a full-time, 3-year fixed term, hybrid role in London.

Who are we looking for?

Ideal candidates will possess excellent organisational and time management skills and will be able to stay on top of multiple varied priorities, projects, and relationships. You will have a track record of successfully overseeing operations management with a proven ability to plan and manage processes for maximum efficiency. Ideally you will have good knowledge of charity legislation, guidelines, principles, and functions. With a personable and confident manner, you will build and maintain relationships, internally and externally and will have experience of engaging diverse stakeholder groups. Experience of working in a start-up/entrepreneurial environment or experience working within the charity sector would be a bonus however it is not essential for the role.
