Engineering Manager (Building services)Westminster£400 per day + 6 Month contract + 30 days holiday pro rata + great benefitsDo you want to work in one of the UK's most iconic building?Are you a senior manager from a building service/ plant background and have vast experience managing teams of engineers?The Operations section of the organisations consists of 24/7/365 Engineering Control & Engineering Services Teams who are responsible for ensuring all building Mechanical & Electrical services such as boilers, air handling units, high voltage switch gear etc are maintained and operational at all times in order to support the business of both houses.In this role you will lead both teams of some 30 technical staff ensuring maximum availability of their engineering services such as steam boilers, major chilled water & ventilation systems, their private High Voltage network along with one of the largest Trend Building Management System (BMS) in the country.The ideal candidate will have experience of running complex Permit to Work systems including "Authorized Person" High & Low Voltage, pressure systems, confined spaces, lift release etc as well as an extensive knowledge of engineering systems & significant staff management experience.This is a brilliant role for an engineering or Operations Manager to work a 6 month contract that will offer great benefits whilst being a challenging role.The role: 6 Month contract Monday to Friday 36 hours a week Flexible working hours Managing a team of 30 engineersThe person: Candidate must have experience managing a team of engineers Have an engineering/ technical background Have a background in building service engineering/ Plant engineering Candidates who have experience in working within buildings from the 1930's would have an advantage.
