This role will support the future growth of Francois Offshore Catering. To develop our offshore catering service solution for current and future clients. To support the Operations Management team to deliver profitable, safe, and continuously improving client contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Operations Team, acting as a role model ensuring all employees are fully trained and competent to achieve maximum results in a safe manner
- Setting and reviewing the catering and cleaning budgets, ensuring all resources are used effectively to meet expected targets
- Ensuring that all Northern Marine Group / Francois Offshore Catering systems relating to people, finance and safety are adhered to
- Communicating effectively with Client Representatives, Francois Offshore Catering Management Team, employees, and customers
- Developing the catering, accommodation and facilities service solutions using available resources whilst sticking to agreed budgets and company policies
- Creating a Safety culture which ensures that all duties are carried out in accordance with operating procedures, safe systems of work, risk assessments and the Health & Safety at Work Act
- Fully supporting and enforcing all safety initiatives of Francois Offshore catering and our clients
- Providing key leadership in ensuring all employees behave and operate in the safest manner possible
- Encouraging Operations to constantly improve service by encouraging feedback from consumers and clients and acting on feedback to improve service provision
- Assisting with Operations Team development – ensuring levels of work performance and conduct are maintained and enhanced through guidance and support
- Supporting the Business Unit Head in developing and growing third party business through networking with clients, supporting tenders, developing our offer, and presenting our services to prospective clients. You may be asked from time to time be asked to undertake other tasks that are considered to be relevant to your position.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline
- Sufficient experience within offshore catering management (Chef/Chef Manager/Campboss)
- IOSH – Managing Safely
- Commercial management and understanding of client rates / business Profit and Loss accounts
- Understanding of and adherence to client contracts
- Existing network of clients / client relationships
- Ability to present catering solutions to prospective clients in an engaging, confident, and convincing manner
