A highly impressive boutique finance company based in the heart of the West End is looking for an organised, sparky and solution-driven Operations Manager to join their small team, and act as a complete lynchpin in their friendly and buzzy offices. This person will be the ‘hub’ of the tight-knit office, working closely with the fun and welcoming CFO (and his delightful dog), supporting him with investor management and administrative support, streamlining processes, with free rein to get involved wherever peaks interest, alongside the core pillars of the role. This could be HR, events, marketing – there is fantastic opportunity to grow the role and make it your own.
This person will need to be a ‘muck-in’ and enthusiastic type, happy turning their hand to anything and wearing many hats, including:
- Supporting the finance team:
- Maintaining and reconciling a cash ledger
- Managing, coordinating and executing the monthly payment process
- Processing team and company expenses
- Investor correspondence and investment/investor documentation
- Planning events, e.g. the annual investor day, researching venues and caterers, compiling lists of attendees etc
- Managing coordination of compliance, including ad hoc HR
- Maintaining investor databases
- Ad hoc support to the team, i.e. booking meeting rooms and light office management
The ideal candidate will have wonderful people skills, impeccable attention to detail, high emotional intelligence, and a good grasp of numbers, with 2+ years of office experience. You’ll need to be versatile, reliable and a fast learner, with a positive attitude being absolutely key. They are looking for a self-starter, a real team player with strong communication skills, confidence and an aptitude for spinning plates.
