We are looking for someone with experience in managing and coordinating events within a cultural venue, but specifically, someone who can lead a team in delivering excellence.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must as you will be leading a team of Duty Managers and Assistants. You will also be a key staff member in the communication of event information between teams therefore you must be a good listener, be organised and having the ability to give clear and concise instructions.
As you will be managing the Guildhall building, you will have experience in coordinating health and safety in a public venue, with a good understanding of risk management, fire safety procedures and be able to confidently liaise with other departments in the maintenance and development of the Guildhall. You will have a strong understanding of building facilities and maintenance and be confident in reporting issues as they arise.
You will act as the green champion for the Guildhall, advocating for environmental responsibility in everything that we do and be a key driver in green initiatives to improve the Guildhall. Equally, you will champion access and inclusion in your role, ensuring that everyone feels welcomed at the Guildhall.
