Job description

We're seeking an Operations Team Leader with a passion for the financial services industry. This role requires excellent leadership skills and knowledge of an operational role in financial services.

Description

As Operations Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting internal stakeholders to ensure due diligence is complete and reviewed regularly by managing the third-party management documentation with relationship owners
  • Supporting other departments to ensure policies and procedures are complete and reviewed regularly by carrying out regular reviews of policies and procedures
  • Ensuring operational administration is carried out with agreed SLAs
  • Lead and motivate the Operations Team to deliver excellent customer service
  • Ensure all processes and procedures within the department are efficient and compliant with regulations
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and implementation of operational improvements, such as testing the Operational Resilience documentation and programme
  • Assisting the projects team with testing of operational functionality and creation of procedures across departments
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure smooth operation across the company
  • Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for development
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members
  • Ensure an effective and positive working environment within the team

Profile

The successful Operations Team Leader should have:

  • A solid understanding and experience in the financial services industry
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex cases and complaints.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
  • Excellent attention to detail

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary in the range of £30,000 to £33,000 per annum.
