AEM Ltd has a vacancy for an Operations Technician at its Luton site . This is a a permanent, full-time vacacny and reports to the Team Leader.
JOB PURPOSE
To carry out the refurbishment of Aviation First Aid/Medical Kits.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Checking and replenishing component parts for First Aid Kits when found to be used / missing /out of date.
- Making new kits for Aircraft
- Replacing Broken Kits
- Ensuring correct uses of stock
- Ensuring expiry dates / batch numbers used are correct
- Enabling corrective action in time
- Ensuring high standards of performance and avoiding mistakes
- Sealing Kits
- Sealing medicines before use.
- Printing paracetamol forms.
- Checking and replenishing component parts for Aircraft Medical kits
- Refurbishing Medical kits
- Processing new orders
- Transferring stock using the Quantum computer system
- Making packs (eg Syringe packs)
- Packing medicines for the Qualified Person to sign off.
- Checking colleagues' work
- Drug recall (as required)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Numerate and literate - minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English (desired)

- Enjoys working as part of a team; positive and enthusiastic and motivated
- Able to accurately follow written and verbal guidance, which requires a good level of written and spoken english
- Able to interpret and comply with health, safety, quality and compliance processes
- Works to a high standard of quality, control and delivery
- Excellent communication skills
- Disciplined, organised, able to work under pressure, at speed, with excellent attention to detail
