SalaryOracle PL/SQL Developer- DWH/ Reporting – 24-month Fixed Term Contract
Salary range: £70k-£80k per annum
Location: Mostly remote, a few times per month required to work in the London based office
Leading business is looking to recruit an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with a strong background in the data warehouse and reporting environment to join the talented team.
Role:
- Design, develop, and optimise complex PL/SQL queries, procedures, functions, and triggers for efficient data retrieval and manipulation within a data warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and analyse business requirements for reporting and analytical solutions.
- Create and maintain data warehouse structures to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
- Performance tuning of SQL queries for optimal database performance in a data warehouse setting.
- Work closely with business analysts and end-users to ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting solutions.
- Develop and implement ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various source systems into the data warehouse.
Skills/experience:
- Proven experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer in a data warehouse/reporting environment.
- Proven experience of working with Oracle 11gr2 version
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Expertise in performance tuning and optimisation of PL/SQL queries.
- Experience with data modeling and designing structures for reporting and analytics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ideally you will have ETL experience
Any experience of working the Healthcare sector is a bonus.
