Rate: £10.43 - £11.68 per hour + holiday pay + pension
Location: Telford, Shropshire (100% onsite)
Duration: 1 year initially
Requirements: eligible for SC Clearance (needs to live and work in the UK for the past 5 years)
Key tasks:
- Contact suppliers (phone / email); confirming and expediting Critical / Overdue purchase orders, ensuring all internal systems are managed and updated.
- Complete Order Book reviews with an aligned allocation of suppliers to manage.
- Work closely and cooperatively with the Provision and Procurement teams and wider Land Supply team to achieve the organisation s service targets.
- Process suppliers POD s in a timely manner to aid the reduction in receipt queries.
- Process invoice queries to aid the requirement to comply with the prompt payment policy and attend aged debt reviews with suppliers.
- Request importation clearance for authority buys enabling delivery.
- Making full use of data, system capabilities and best practice processes that are available.
- Maintain and develop good relationships with suppliers in order to obtain the best service possible.
- Operate within a flexible team that is fully integrated with the Supply Chain.
- Authorised to liaise with external stakeholders, customers and suppliers as required.

- High level of Customer service experience
- Base IT IT literate (minimum Microsoft Office Excel)
- Base knowledge of provision and ERP systems
- Experience of working in a telephone-based role e.g., call centre
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work closely with all relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition
