£14.50 p/h - 16 hrs per week (2 Day)
Initially a three month probation period with a view to a two year funded project.
We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join us and help to grow and diversify our audience and our volunteer workforce, and increasing access to the arts.
Outreach - Nuneaton and North Warwickshire has been identified as an area of low arts engagement. You will lead a project to grow our audience and specifically engage in those areas that do not currently feel they can access the arts in general. The full two-year projects seeks to identify and train arts ambassadors within specific communities.
Project Grant Applications - to seek out funding opportunities from major grant giving bodies, trusts and Foundations, local authorities and researching additional funding streams. You should therefore have experience and success in writing grant applications and knowledge of funding streams.
Creating Projects for audience development and community engagement. Developing our range of daytime activities and initiatives to make the theatre building a more active daytime community asset.
Partnerships - developing and nurturing new partnership opportunities and maintaining current relationships including; Borough Council & County Council, Nuneaton BID and other arts organisations.
Audience Development - working with the trustees and marketing team to develop audience strategies.
You will be joining a small team made up primarily of volunteers with a passion for the arts.
This is an exciting time of development and we are currently able to offer this as a two year funded project subject to a successful three-month settling in period. After 2 years it is intended that the person in post will have increased audience engagement and have obtained grant funding for the post to continue and grow.
