Pay Rate: £14-£18 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify the unique needs of children and families. Develop individualised support plans to address these needs.
- Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate support and intervention during crisis situations to ensure the safety of children and families.
- Act as an advocate for families within the social services system, helping them navigate various resources and agencies to obtain necessary services.
- Connect families with appropriate community resources, including educational, medical, housing, and counselling services.
- Provide guidance and resources to parents to help them improve their parenting skills and create a safe and nurturing environment for their children.
- Conduct home visits to assess living conditions and ensure children are in a safe and healthy environment.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, assessments, and services provided, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
- Work closely with other professionals, including social workers, therapists, and educators, to create a comprehensive support network for families.
- We are looking for candidates with a demonstrated background in working with children or young people. This experience must include roles in social care, educational institutions, or voluntary organisations.
- An essential component of this role is a solid grasp of child development and an understanding of the needs of children.
- The ability to write clear and concise observations and reports is a crucial aspect of this position.
