Blackmoor Park Infant School and Kindergarten is a large Infant School with a Children’s Centre on site. Our positive and inclusive ethos nurtures the development of respectful, resilient children within a safe, caring and happy environment. We are a 3 form entry Infant School and Kindergarten which is part of The Three Saints Academy Trust, located in West Derby Liverpool. Our NOR is 380 with 18% of disadvantaged pupils and 14% SEND.
The school and Trust are seeking to appoint an outstanding person who is highly motivated, with a commitment to working with children and families as the Family Support Worker.
The post requires someone who is experienced in working with families through a multi-agency approach. They should have an up-to-date, working understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
The successful candidate will be someone who is able to work independently, under the general direction of the SLT, but is able to manage their own time and use their initiative on a day-to-day basis. They will have excellent time management, oral and written communication skills, and be able to use IT very effectively.
The successful candidate will support children and their families across the school and be a part of our SEND & Pastoral Team. They will represent the school at multi agency meetings and take the role of Deputy Designated safeguarding person. - Experience of delivering interventions to infant children
