P6 Project Planner

I represent a client that serves prominent entities within the nuclear industry, operating in highly regulated and demanding environments. Thanks to the inherent nature of their operations, they have experienced significant growth and are currently seeking a project planner to join their team and contribute to the efficient streamlining of projects.
The role of P6 Planner will include the following:
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to enhance project controls, tools, and reports to achieve industry-leading standards.
- Take charge of guiding the planning team in collaboration with Project Managers, ensuring the creation and upkeep of comprehensive project plans and resource allocation plans using Primavera P6.
- Manage and enhance project implementation databases (utilizing MS Access), along with the upkeep of pertinent paper records, health and safety information, and compliance data.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders in the supply chain to ensure the seamless provision of services according to the agreed-upon plan and work schedule.
- Provide updates on progress, performance, resource utilization, and commercial information to the Project Management team, and deliver consolidated Sector performance reports to the Operations Manager.
The requirements for P6 planner are:
- Proficient in Project Planning tools, particularly Primavera P6, with a strong background in their application.
- Extensive experience with NEC3/4 while working for a primary contractor, including proficiency in utilizing CEMAR.
- Demonstrated expertise in supporting delay claims and forensic planning.
- Proven track record in creating impact programs, narratives, and supporting documentation.
- Possesses outstanding organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Well-versed in handling compensation events and conducting delay analysis.
- Adept at implementing project controls to enhance business performance.
- Comfortable working in an IT or control system environment.
- Skilled in employing risk management techniques to mitigate potential issues.
- Demonstrates good financial and commercial acumen.
- Holds SC clearance or is willing to obtain it.
