We're currently recruiting Packing Operatives to join our dynamic team based at our Cuisine Centre of Operations. We are a leading producer of high-quality food products renowned for their freshness and taste. Are you seeking a hands-on role in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility? We're looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Packing Operatives, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring our products are packaged and prepared for distribution in our cold environment setting.
You will be required to pack all the plated, ovals and muti portion products into baskets and trays and complete a final check of quality and labelling placement on all products leaving our facility.
We are seeking individuals on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week, initially Monday to Friday however as our contracts grow hours and days of work may be subject to change.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately pack products according to company standards and customer orders.
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
- Monitor product quality throughout the packing process, identifying and reporting any issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the packing area, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Follow all relevant procedures and protocols to ensure product integrity and compliance with regulations.
Requirements from you to undertake this role:
- Previous experience in a packing or manufacturing environment preferred but not required (training provided).
- Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods (PPE Provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects as required.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
