THE ROLE
We are looking for a Paid Social Marketing Lead to work as part of the Performance Marketing team in Central London. Reporting into the Head of Performance Marketing, your role as the Paid Social Marketing Lead will be manage all Paid Social activities for Ted Baker internationally. You will line manage a Performance Marketing Assistant and an external Paid Social marketing agency.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Owning the Paid Social marketing strategy for the business to generate demand and acquire new customers
Launching, optimising and reporting on effective full-funnel Paid Social campaigns across various markets, on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat and others as per business needs
Budget management for the Paid Social programme globally
Line manage and develop a Performance Marketing Assistant helping with the channel
Plan and brief in all seasonal launch, promotional and weekly campaigns to design/copy team
Delivering post-campaign analysis using both media platform data and analytics solutions and providing weekly and periodical performance reporting
Foster our relationship with our agency and lead on communication between the internal and external teams
Testing new platforms, formats and new ways of buying media - pushing forward the Paid Social buying strategy and delivering continuous improvement
To develop and build strong relationships with the major platforms
Understand the mix of paid, earned, owned media and inform when and where it is appropriate to promote content through each channel
With the support of the Performance Marketing Assistant, raising POs and handling invoices
Delivering post-campaign analysis using both media platform data and analytics solutions and providing weekly and periodical performance reporting
Leading the communications flow between internal and external teams
Working with the Head of Performance Marketing and other team members to deliver the business strategy
Work with the wider marketing team to understand and act on wider business objectives
Work with trading, buying, and merchandising to collect and share information to drive business goals
TOOLS OF THE TRADE
- Strong Excel, analytical and forecasting skills, ideally experience with Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics
- Demonstrable Paid Social experience, setting the long-term Paid Social strategy for major brands
- A keen eye for strong creative, with prior experience of influencing creative teams or agencies to develop impactful creative for all stages of the funnel
- Experience in the fashion/beauty/luxury industries, ideally with a strong understanding of driving ecommerce growth
- Experience managing direct reports
