Resource Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated Paraplanner to join a pension advisory consultancy of excellent pedigree.
Role Objective: Our client is looking for a Paraplanner to work alongside Senior Consultants to provide full Paraplanning support in their London office.
Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working with a selected number of consultants, fact finding, preparing meeting notes and taking general guidance from the consultants to prepare reports/recommendations.
• Ensuring sufficient client information is obtained and analyse information gathered by the consultant and challenging advice where required.
• Staying up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes.
• Analysing client data and preparing cash flow plans.
• Ensuring relevant CPD is maintained and recorded accurately.
• Undertaking product, investment and market research.
• Assisting to develop, support and maintain processes.
• Ensuring continuous compliance with the FCA rules & regulations.

Requirements:

• At least working towards CII level 4 Diploma or higher.
• Previous experience within a Financial Planning Practice or similar.
• Ability to write clear and concise letters for clients.
• Ability to prioritise work and complete work within specified timeframes.
• High level of technical knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication including the ability to write clear and concise letters for clients.
• Ability to prioritise work and complete work within specified.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office software and using third party research including Intelligent Office, Financial Express, Selectapension or similar.
• Experience of using Voyant software to produce client cash flow plans.
