Part Qualified Accountant, Woking, to £35k + Great Bens + Study + Parking / Train allowance

This is a cracking opportunity for a progressive Part Qualified level Assistant Accountant to join a highly successful international business based in Woking in a varied and challenging finance role. This is a full-time permanent, mainly office-based job (currently Fridays are worked remotely).

• Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with other finance team members, you will be taking responsibility for producing the accounts for some of the smaller entities within the group.
• This will include reviewing and submitting monthly accounts, accruals/prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany/treasury, ensuring compliance with local and international requirements.
• Day-to-day liaison with outsourced finance service providers to ensure timely processing of accounting transactions, payment of local supplier invoices and submission of relevant returns to the authorities.
• You will also be assisting with annual accounts, together with the year end audit file containing all relevant supporting documentation.
• So, you’ll gain broad accounting exposure in what will be an interesting and varied role.

The successful candidate will already have some experience of monthly accounts preparation, ideally with knowledge of accruals and prepayments and a good understanding of how a balance sheet fits together. Previous experience of SAP would be very useful but is not essential. This role would particularly suit a part-qualified Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / AAT or QBE equivalent) looking for a varied role with definite potential for growth and development.
