Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Part-Time Accountant, you will:
- Financial Support: Provide financial support to the 3 client Group businesses, investigating and advising on highly complex and sensitive financial issues.
- Relationship Management: Manage relationships with external service providers, including banks, auditors, and finance companies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for Management/Board, including Profit & Loss. Ensure accuracy and compliance with agreed timescales and legal requirements.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure statutory accounts and returns are accurate, meeting agreed timescales and legal requirements, and interpret these as necessary.
- VAT Expertise: Handle VAT returns and manage the Year End File.
Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Qualified or part-qualified CIMA or ACCA.
- Over 1 year of experience in a finance background, essential.
- Over 1 year of experience in a manufacturing company, essential.
- Desirable experience in Invoice Finance.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and word processing.
- Strong planning and organizational skills to meet strict weekly, monthly, and annual financial deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
