Recruit Moore have been approached by our client in Eastleigh to support them in finding a Part-time Accounts Assistant, working 3-4 days per week, for a 12+ month Maternity Contract.
Working for an expanding established business, your role will be to support the accounts team.
Duties to include -
Debtors Ledger tasks:
- Sending initial chasing emails to customers and sending copies of invoices as requested
- Chasing aged debtors by phone after initial chaser email
- Uploading of sales Invoices onto customer portal invoicing systems
- Generation and sending of month-end statements to customers
- Month-end debtor closedown procedure and reconciliations
- Assisting with credit checking potential customers and account set-up
- Adhoc debtor ledger tasks as and when required
Purchase Ledger tasks:
- Checking, processing and paying employee expenses
- Maintenance and processing of the company's credit cards
- Assisting with purchase ledger invoice processing when required
- Assisting the Management Accountant with automatic invoice processing when required
- Ensuring correct VAT treatment of receipts and invoices
- Adhoc creditor ledger tasks as and when required

Salary - GBP25,000 - GBP30,000 pro-rata
