Part-time Accounts Assistant - 12+ month Maternity Contract

Recruit Moore have been approached by our client in Eastleigh to support them in finding a Part-time Accounts Assistant, working 3-4 days per week, for a 12+ month Maternity Contract.

Working for an expanding established business, your role will be to support the accounts team.

Duties to include -

Debtors Ledger tasks:

• Sending initial chasing emails to customers and sending copies of invoices as requested
• Chasing aged debtors by phone after initial chaser email
• Uploading of sales Invoices onto customer portal invoicing systems
• Generation and sending of month-end statements to customers
• Month-end debtor closedown procedure and reconciliations
• Assisting with credit checking potential customers and account set-up
• Adhoc debtor ledger tasks as and when required

Purchase Ledger tasks:

• Checking, processing and paying employee expenses
• Maintenance and processing of the company's credit cards
• Assisting with purchase ledger invoice processing when required
• Assisting the Management Accountant with automatic invoice processing when required
• Ensuring correct VAT treatment of receipts and invoices
• Adhoc creditor ledger tasks as and when required

Our client is happy to be flexible with which days are worked, and is looking for someone to start ASAP!

Salary - GBP25,000 - GBP30,000 pro-rata
