Working in a beautiful village location, you'll be working as part of a team of 18, in a converted barn with on site parking.

Job title: Part time Accounts Assistant
Hours: 20 hours a week over 4-5 days
Salary: 26,000 - 28,000 FTE, based on a 40 hour week = 13,000 - 14,000pa
Hybrid: 1-2 days working from home, once you pass your 6 month probationary period
Location: Near Ashford, your own transport is required due to the location of the company

Your duties as the Commercial Property Management Accounts Assistant would be:
- Issuing rent and service charge demands in accordance with the terms of the lease
- Processing supplier invoices and payments
- Bank account reconciliation
- Liaising with Property Manager as and when needed
- Preparing year-end service charge accounts
- Preparation of information for client submission of VAT
- Recharging insurance premiums
- Preparing and remitting financial reports for clients
- Assisting auditors as required in connection with the service charge and company year-end accounts
- Ensuring all financial details are recorded accurately
Skills/experience required:
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures inclusive of purchase, sales and nominal ledger
- Familiarity/previous experience of working with service charges
- Knowledge of Key Property Management software
