Part-Time Accounts Assistant

Your new role
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will be hands-on in both daily accounting duties and supporting the month-end processes. Your main duties will include:

• Inputting weekly and quarterly cash flow data (on Excel)
• Daily cashbook download from online banking to excel
• Sales Ledger invoicing
• Credit Control and Resolving Sales ledger queries
• Prepare and process monthly payroll, HMRC Online submissions and payroll year-end duties
• VAT preparation and HMRC online submission
• Service charge accounts preparation and year-end analysis (assisting the FC)

Being part of a smaller team, you will also be required to assist colleagues in general office duties, for example, taking phone calls, meeting any visitors etc.
What you\'ll need to succeed
It is likely you will have gained further education like the AAT qualification or equivalent. You will already possess accounting experience, ideally transactional processing and reconciliation work, with good use of Excel. Strong communication skills along with a presentable and professional manner are essential for this close-knit team environment. Being supportive, flexible and enthusiastic, along with strong attention to detail and quick to learn are required.
