SalaryRG Consultancy are working with a well-established nationwide business who are looking to recruit a Senior Accounts Assistant at their Head Office in Stockport. The Role
- To manage and maintain all aspects of sales and purchase ledger
- Raising and issuing sales involves
- Responsibility for the daily banking
- Credit control, collecting monthly direct debits
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT Returns
- Processing payroll
- Assist with year end and audit preparation
- To assist with monthly management accounts and work closely with the management accountant
The Person
- Fully AAT qualified or working towards
- A well-established Accounts Assistant who has worked within an accountancy/finance role previous
- Experience within a senior role is desirable but not essential
- Slight exposure to management accounts and wanting to gain more experience
- Responding to client and customer quires in a professional manner
- Assisting with identifying improvements within current company systems
- Any other general administrative tasks
- Experience with SAGE 50 is an advantage
