Senior Accounts Assistant

*This a temporary role of around 3-4 months - anticipated start date around mid March*

I am currently recruiting for a stock-focused Senior Accounts Assistant to join a very well established, successful and growing business in Cheshire (commutable from Chester, Nantwich, Wrexham, Whitchurch and Crewe. With a history going back 50 years, this company has recently been acquired by a larger group providing security and impressive year on year growth, whilst enjoying a real family-feel with a close-knit and predominantly local workforce of c. 200.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Ensure purchase invoices are processed in a timely and accurate basis
• Preparation of payment proposals
• Making payments via BACS
• Reconciliation of supplier statements
• Supporting wider finance team internally
• Admin/ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Highly experienced in Accounts Payable and ideally stock would be beneficial
• Methodical and able to deal with high volumes
• High attention to detail and work ethic
• Team player
• Confident & outgoing personality
