£28,000 Pro-rated to hours
A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a dynamic, fast growing and professional commercial client based near Central Reading. The ideal candidate will have a positive “can do” approach and a friendly manner, with positive communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Credit Control responsibilities – by email, letter and phone
- Daily allocation of customer payments using Sage system
- Cash accounts and card payments
- Raising credit notes and dealing with customer invoice queries
- Credit limits on a weekly basis – reviewing limits and where needed placing on stop until payments are received and escalating as required
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Processing annual customer rebates due
- Reconciling monthly credit card statements with drivers’ fuel sheets
- Renewing vehicle tax and annual breakdown cover
- Maintaining accuracy of spreadsheets
- Assisting with year-end Audit
Requirements:
- Previous Finance / Accounts department experience including credit control
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Good educational grades including Maths
