Technique Recruitment Solutions are working with a storage solutions business in Norwich looking to appoint a Part Time Customer Service and Sales Advisor on a permanent basis.
Part time hours are negotiable and are within the business opening hours between 08.30am 5.30pm and will operate via a fixed rota on a fortnightly rotation and will involve some Saturdays.

The Role:
- Dealing effectively with enquiries and communicating confidently in person, by phone and by email.
- Working as part of a small team, our Customer Service & Sales Advisors get involved in every aspect of the daily operation of the business.
- Following an established set of sales processes and follow up procedures
- Becoming an expert in your role- being able to offer help and advice to a variety of customer types from new, existing and adhoc customers
- Developing solid business to business relationships with suppliers and local complimentary businesses.
- Logging information about customers and enquiries within the management database, completing all customer paperwork and ensuring details of contracts are explained.
- Ensuring the store is always well presented, the sales area is well stocked and that all customers are made to feel welcome in the store.
- Ensuring site facilities, including security systems are well maintained and correctly utilised, in accordance with company procedures.
- Processing one-off sales of packaging material and other goods, upselling where possible.
- Processing payments by card & cash, daily reconciling of sales
- Other ad-hoc roles as necessary to ensure the store is always running as well as it ca such as manual handing and light cleaning duties.
Experience required:
- The ideal person will be a confident and friendly communicator both in person and over the phone
- Excellent team player and to work well within a team or on your own
- Excellent attention to ensure paperwork is completed correctly and data is recorded as it should be.
- Experience within a reactive-sales or customer-service background or a similar role is essential
- Extensive experience of computer literacy, and Microsoft packages is essential
- Excellent organisational skills
