SalaryPart Time Finance Director (1-2 days per week)
Our client is a family-owned business, based in the Wimbledon area. The business has enjoyed impressive growth since inception, with annual revenues of circa GBP5Million.
They now seek an experienced and commercial Finance Director to help the management team fulfil further expansion plans and to capitalise on a strong company brand and reputation for high quality service. This is a newly created role and you will oversee the day to day finance operations as well as playing a key part in the future strategic plans for the company.
Working closely with the Directors, you will be available for one to two days per week (or 8 to 15 hours weekly).
Your main responsibilities and focus will be:
- Oversee and develop a highly motivated finance team.
- Preparing monthly and quarterly accounts with commercial insight and commentary.
- Review current practices to improve cost efficiencies.
- Establish business strategies to increase profitability.
- Prepare medium and long term business plans to achieve financial targets.
- Produce detailed management reports for various projects.
- Develop IT systems and procedures.
